Anthony Talarico *** U.S.Army *** WWII - N. Africa - Italy

 

Tony served from October 1942 to December 1945. He served in Finance with the 8th Port of Embarkation from March 1943 till November 1945. Headquarters of the 8th POE was in charge of all Financial, Transportation, Provost Marshall, Medical and literally affected thousands of military personnel and civilians in their function. He was involved with the North Africa, Sicily and the Italian Campaigns. The camera which he carried was a "Certo Dollina" which still is in his possession.
