Alfred G. Kirchner *** USAF *** Korea 1954-1957

 

Al was a 1st Lieutenant with the 67th Tactical Surveillance Wing out of Kimpo Air Force Base near Seoul, South Korea. As an Intelligence Officer he was associated with the gathering and interpretation of aerial reconnaissance missions involving the 38th Parallel Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea from May 1955 to April 1956. He compiled these photos with his personal camera, a Kodak Retina III-C, along with other photos he acquired through his experiences.
